Pew Pew…
So for the past week or so I’ve been running with this corp, Jaskur Corporation. They seem like a good bunch of guys. They are pretty new to the PVP game though and it shows, not that I’m a crusty ‘ole warrior myself. I adhere to the policy that if you sign on with a crew you obey the fleet commander without fail. Sure this might get your ship cracked from time to time but in the end you’ll know who was at fault.
Last night we went on a roam on Obalyu. Admittedly we were looking for trouble. Apparently these guys have a bit of an on going row with another corp that controls that system. Not long after we arrived it was clear we had found trouble. The Fleet Commander started chatting up local and soon the system was busy with the opposing corps forces. Now, in this case I would have moved us out. Several ships in local were going to be too much to handle for us alone and more than likely we wouldn’t be fighting anyone alone.
As we waited at a safe spot to decide what to do. The decision was made for us. A ship dropped out of warp right on top of us. the FC gave the order to warp out and I jumped to another safe spot in system. Before I had dropped out of warp he gave the order to warp back and we would engage. I bounced back as quickly as I could and asked for primary. I knew we were in trouble as soon as I dropped out of warp. No less than six ships were flashing red on my screen. I locked primary and opened fire. The ship quickly went pop and the order to warp out was given. It was too late for me however because I was warp scrammed and soon I was cracked as well.
I had fun, I got to shoot my guns but I would really like to get a kill without losing my ship.
