Guard Duty… Meh
Last night was pretty boring.
A corp mate, Arkanis VonBerra, asked me to guard him while he mined for a couple hours. Apparently there was a rumor pirate spooking the belts and he didn’t want to get caught with his pants down. I didn’t have the heart to tell him the pirate spook was me.
I decided to try and make this more interesting by waiting in orbit of the planet where the belt he was mining was located. Whether he knew it or not I was using him as bait. It was uneventful though. The only combat ship I saw was an assault frigate that popped in when I was guarding the ore while Arkanis went to get his hauler. She didn’t stick around long when she saw me orbiting them in my Punisher.
Too bad, I could have used some excitement. Not to worry though. Arkanis cut me in for half his take on the ore for my efforts. Can’t beat that I guess.
